Emily Wexler, PE, is a Senior Associate, Strategic Project Development, for Tranquility49 LLC. In this capacity, she consults on matters of business development, grant preparation and conference organization. She also provides project management, marketing materials, budget control and content creation.
Prior to this position, she worked as an Associate Director for Baruch College of the City University of New York where she wrote and edited numerous white papers and reports, most of which were based on New York City and its built environment. She also managed development programs, securing grants up to $500,000 and lucrative conference sponsorships. Past roles also include acting as a Consultant for the Bank of New York Mellon within its 2,600-person Technology Services Group. In addition, Ms. Wexler was employed as a Product Specialist for the Institutional Investments Division of AllianceBernstein; a Development Officer for Stevens Institute of Technology; a Product Line Manager for Nordson Corporation and a Mechanical Design Engineer for SemiFab, Incorporated.
Ms. Wexler’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Clemson University; a Master of Science degree in Management and Project Management from Stevens Institute of Technology and an MBA degree from Auburn University. In addition, she is a Professional Mechanical Engineer (P.E.) in the State of California and is a Certified Quality Engineer (C.Q.E.)
Ms. Wexler serves as a Board Member for the Joffrey Ballet School. She has also served as a Volunteer Docent at both the High Line and the Monterey Bay Aquarium.
